Bakersfield, California was just a quick stop. We were there only 3 days and we didn’t do much really. Found a good sushi place and had ice cream at Dewar’s candy and ice cream shop. The campground we stayed at was just outside of town and there must have been a feed lot or something very near by because our first night there the wind changed and Oh My Goodness… the smell was horrific. Then the wind would change again and we would smell tree blossoms… which was a nice change. So it was either blossoms or poo… poo being the majority. Was no love loss for that place when we left.
