I (Rob) update travel maps within a week or two of each move. Selecting a pin on the map will give the name of the campground and a link to it’s Campendium review (I’ve been lax about doing reviews, but will focus more on that in the future).
Each year’s start position is marked with a larger pin.
Thousand Trails parks are marked with (TT).
2022 and after almost 2 years stationary, we’re picking up where we left off, and back on schedule for our New England summer!
2021 was spent waiting out the Pandemic, and dealing with the fallout from the dramatic shifts happening in the restaurant industry (as it relates to our business providing technology solutions for them).
2020 started in TX, included a family visit in Houston, and spending time in NOLA with our granddaughter. Our next plan was to finally get to New England for the summer. We made it all the way to SC before the plans were derailed by the Pandemic, so we decided to wait it out for a few months in SC.
2019 was mostly sitting: It took several months to find the new fifth wheel, and a couple more to get it setup the way we wanted (washer and dryer, batteries, etc), and then we headed to AL and OK for the holidays with friends. This map starts at our purchase location in AL.
2018 started with boondocking in the desert, and starting to slow down a bit, especially as we moved up the coast and spent the summer in the PNW again. Once that was done, we headed to OK for our friends wedding, and back to SC so that we could trade our fifth wheel for something larger / newer (since we decided to continue to full time for 3 – 5 years more at that point).
2017 was go-go-go. We did 7 day or less stays for the first half of the country (we wanted to be in Houston for my grandmothers 90th birthday, so our stays and travel were planned around that). Once that was done, our general plan was to head to the PNW, and figure it out from there.
2016 started with a single night in GA, and then 7 weeks in FL. Only two moves, but we were moving!
